Almost 3 weeks old already!

Time has gone by so quickly! We had an in home nurse come in today, and she weighed our little Evie-Poo and she now weighs 9lbs 9oz!!! that was with her clothes on, we didn't want to upset her but holy cow, this little girl is growing like a weed!

Evelyn's 2 week apointment.

We went to the Dr. on Monday, which is more like "a week and 3 days" apointment but whatever. I knew she was growing but holy moly! She already weighs 8 lb and 11 oz! That is just nuts! She weighed 7 lbs and 1 oz when we left the hospital---my my my! She is out of newborn diapers...or more like we were out, so I tried a size 1 on her and it fit...so that was that.
Other than that no new news...my Grandad is coming home from Florida which we are excited about he was not here when she was born so mom sent him some pictures and I think it guilted him into coming home, I am happy though and I know my mom is too!

We had our little one Friday morning at 4:49am she is a DOLL! I didn't know we could love someone else sooooo much! but yeah Thursday morning i had my overdue appointment and was having pressure pain in my pelvis and the Dr. said her head was low, so that would happen, I was dilated 3cm, and also that if i didn't have her that weekend(she thought i would though) we would induce on Tuesday...which is today and my cousin Laura is in the hospital right now..so i am glad the girls will each have her own birthday. So we ate at McDonald's on the way home and I passed up going to the mall to "walk the baby out" to go take a nap. I didn't sleep a wink-Casey was passed out! But the pain in my pelvis was just unbearable! I woke Casey up bawling my eyes out and then I called my friend Jen, and told her how much pain I was in and she said to call the Dr. and not to feel bad about it because that is what they are there for! So at 6 i called the Dr. and i was just hoping she would call me in something to help me sleep, but she had me go the the hospital and get checked out, on the way there I was like "Duh! these "pains" are coming and going...lets time them!" we did and they were ever 5 minutes ---Casey said there was no way i was in labor...and i didn't know either...but we prayed that i was. We got to the hospital and i don't think the nurses thought i was in labor either, I just walked in all smiles to be in the place where i could get a Tylenol 3---but I was those pains that had killed me all day were contractions and i was dilated one more cm - 4cm. and the Dr told them to go ahead and admit me, so they did and i got an epidural at 6cm and they asked me right before i got it on a scale of 1-10 my pain and i said a 4! ha ha...mom advised me to get it so i wasn't so tired in the end. Labor went by really fast though and with out any help from contraction drugs too! I had a welcoming committee camped out in my room which was totally against hospital rules of only 2 people other than your spouse(this was sooo not the plan but it was nice to have company to keep our mind off things), My parents were both there, Casey's mom, my mom's best friend Ann and the kicker...her son, my 17 year old brother's friend Clayton...lol, boy did he get a health lesson that night! My Friend holly and her boyfriend Phil--the weather was bad and holly wanted to be there...but was afraid to drive so along came Phil. and my friends Robbie and Brittany Mckenna came at the very end(they traveled though a snow storm to see our evelyn!) and sat in the waiting room, when they got there, I kicked everyone out i was at 9cm (i was getting overwhelmed) and at 4am i started pushing and 15 min into it the nurse had me stop because the Dr wasn't there yet...she had no idea i would be so quick about it...so i had to sit there while the baby's head was crowned for 20 minutes!!! talk about a hard thing to do! but as soon as the Dr was there i pushed two more times and there was our little girl!
