Baby update

Everything seems to be fine and right on schedule, unless she decides to surprise us!~I have still only gained 2 pounds from my pre-baby weight and for some reason the Dr. has not yelled at me, I really don't need an excuse to eat more junk food to gain weight! lol! Other than that our tree is up and it looks mighty pretty! I have had 2 baby showers...and with all the pink I may have nightmares! She has soooo much clothing I don't know what to do with! until she is like 2! I have a pack and play, a bouncer, a swing and a bunch of fun toys and books!--I have yet to get the crib, but i have a bassinet...that with work for a while and I still need my stroller and car seat combo, and the changing table. I am not to worried though.

Well until next time!

November 4th and the mistletoe is up!!!????

Hello All,

Yeah, My favorite season is just around the corner I can't wait as usual!!!
Christmas! The lights, the colors, the food, the spirit, the crazy shoppers, the crafts, and most of all the true meaning of it! Jesus.
Already in the stores they have decorations up and the music blaring...it is enough to make even me sick of it REAL fast! So while my decorations sit covered up in my bathroom---waiting, and taunting me to get them all out...I must suppress that HUGE urge and leave them be...at least until the week of Thanksgiving!!! ( ha ha this coming from the lady that has had her Christmas curtains up all year...haha.)

OK so that is my beginning of November blog!

Thank you all-and goodnight!

Nothing New

No news is good news right? I guess. Casey and I are now on a very restricted budget---we go out to eat a lot and oh how that is all done and over with now...ha ha. Because we are getting a Baby.

Also have been having issues coming up with dates for baby showers...it is just too stinking close to the holidays--oh well--any suggestions would be just dandy!

We also switched around our living room and bed room to make room for baby, we are not rushing into buying a house right now, I think that we have enough room until she starts moving around and then we are in TROUBLE!

The pieceless puzzle...seems cool

I was just searching online and came across this neat little invention, which would have come in great handy when i was little, we lost all the pieces to our puzzles and so mom never bought us any...ever. Here is the scoop on this link...go ahead watch it be amazed just like me!

Sunday Morning

Well Andrew won his game on Friday...he actually scored the winning touch down! I was the first time since Truman was in office that Norwalk has beaten Bellevue at Bellevue's home stadium! Kinda cool.
Yesterday we just sat around and did nothing, cleaned a little, went out to eat with Casey's mom and step dad at Chett and Matt's, went grocery shopping, and caught a mouse. (that mouse part was gross!--ha ha)
Today we have my little cousin's Birthday party at 5---we got him bath toys and Nerf balls.
what are you supposed to get a 2 year old Brut? I don't know either...but they are getting a baby brother on the 11Th and we get to watch Anna and Luke while mommy and daddy have a c-section...well i guess just mommy is having that c-section. OK well that is all for today

~~~YAY! for Football~~~
My family loves going and cheering for my brothers high school football team...
The Norwalk Truckers have not always been known to be a winning team, actually when I was in high school they were known as a losing team! Now they are finally getting the whole act together...and it is really fun cheering them on to a win!
Anyway I am going to his game tonight ( Casey has to work) and I just wanted to share!
Poor Casey
The poor guy keeps whining about Halo 3 I don't know what to do with him!
I wouldn't have a problem with him buying the game but stupid Microsoft has made the Xbox 360 and we don't have one...anyway to make a buck...how rude...it seems like we just bought the Xbox...sigh!
And now for our Bi-Monthly update!
Almost Bi-monthly anyway....
So...the baby...
We found out on September 11th that we are having a baby girl, so bring on the pink! (p.s. i like other colors too!) Everything looks healthy and normal, I got a call this morning that the Dr. looked at the ultrasound pictures and they said everything seems right on track, so I am now 22 weeks pregnant---with 18 to go...huh...I really don't know what I think about that.
My new hobby now that I am in early retirement,(and not hugging my porcelain friend anymore) is getting online and sending away for coupons and free samples...I am so weird...and cheep.
This past Monday my Grandmother passed away, she was battling cancer of the breast, ovary, and liver, and the treatments were too much for her body to process. She was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday evening and from then on just started shutting down, it is by far the worst thing I have ever had to watch and I hope that no one else I love ever have to go through that. On Saturday night my family all gathered round her bed and everyone was crying, my mom wanted us to sing hymns and needed me to start them, I did not think that i would be able to do it, but once we started it was so comforting, the Holy Spirit moved in that room and we ALL could feel it. The next evening some of us brought hymnals and we sang again, this time we were all very light hearted and filled with God's love. I knew that my Grandma was going to die but we all could rejoice in knowing that she had a home in Heaven prepared for her. At 11:30 the charge nurse asked us to leave so I said goodbye to my Grandma and went home, my aunt stayed with her though the night. The next morning I slept until about 10 and got up, Casey was still asleep because he had to work that night to I let him be, and got ready, grabbed my Bible and headed to the Hospital. I thought I would relieve my aunt and read to my Grandma for a while that morning. I found a parking space, got out and walked toward the entrance and my phone rang, I answered it and my mom was on the other end and said "Grandma went to be with the Lord" Surprisingly the first thing out of my mouth was "Thank you God" and i headed up to the room to be with my mom. All the hubbub of Funeral arrangements were already beginning. I called Casey and then headed home. The next few days were soooooooo tiring. They funeral was wonderful, and we were able to share our family's testimony with everyone there and that in and of itself was such a blessing. Some people did not understand that we were not crying because she was dead but because of how much we are all going to miss her.
Thank you all for your love and prayers over the last few weeks they mean so much to all of us.
ok...yeah so we all know i am just really bad at this!
well for an update we got to hear the baby's heartbeat on July 10, that was pretty neat, and I have another apt. on Aug. 9 at 9:45, I really don't know what that will involve, i know that next month is the ultrasound. I am still very sickly and gag a whole bunch, but i have not gotten sick since Saturday, so that is good I guess.
Another Note:
Is it hot out or is that just me...holy cow, don't you love to sweat when you are not even moving...
new thinks---yeah i said thinks
Bible study; Allowing God, to let you fall in love with him and be available for him and his ministry...pretty cool.
Vitamin water: I have had two of them today and i really seem to like them, expensive: however, i really do need the nutrients and if i can get hydrated in the prosess it helps too, and there is electrolytes! and only 50 calories...
Greys Anatomy: Hello! I really never paid any attention to this show before but the other day I saw a re-run and now I am renting them from Blockbuster and wa-la I am now half way throughout the second season...meaning I really like it.
Work...now that is something that i really am not too crazy about! lol but i am sure doing alot of it! At least i have two days off next week!---i really need to organize!
Just a thought about LIFE...and death
It is a very nice day, to nice for funerals if you ask me, my great uncle passed away and today was the day that we commended his body to the ground. Now, out of his siblings there are 3 left. The first funeral that I had ever attended was my great grandmothers funeral. Cecilia Zimmerman Enderle (his mother_she was 99)and i remember all of her children there and now they are all joining her in Heaven. (Alice, William -my grandfather, Elenor are left with us.) I really wonder what they are thinking about it all.
I know that it is really making me think.
No one has ever passed away that I was terribly close to, and that seems to be just around the corner. All of my grandparents are still alive and I still have one Great Grandmother that is.
Casey has only 1 grandmother alive.
Out of my Great Grandparents I have met 3 of my Great Grandmothers...which is amazing-yet none of my Great Grandfathters-proving that stubborness runs through the viens of the women in my family! I have also been there when 2 were laid to rest. It is really humbleing-to know that God is SO much bigger than I.
My Dad has said to me just resently that he wants to know that he has left a legisey behind here on earth when he dies. -That is my prayer today that he truely will. My father is a very godly man and he has raised all three of us up well and he has just brought a new son-in- law into our family and has already started laying foundational stones in his life that will alow us to bring up our children in a right way being steadfast to the Lord. I want to be able to say that when he dies...that we are his legasy that he wants to represent his life after all we are all children of God and we all should want to be that way.
if this did not make sense to anyone else that is ok...it makes sense to me...and that is all that matters.
New Mother-In-Law in the Hospital
My MIL was just admitted into Elyria Memorial Hospital. It is now 2:41 am. I am SO tired and I was so looking forward to sleeping in, tomorrow morning. But God had other plans. She has several tests running and one came back showing very low potassium and so they are basing other test on that. (I think) I will let you know more as I find out information.
They do not have insurance right now due to my FIL being laid off a few weeks ago and this will prove to be a trying time for them.
Please keep them in your prayers. Thank you.
Dinner Night with Friends
We get together with three other couples every Wednesday night. We all take turns cooking, for financial reasons and so it saves us all a little time 3 weeks in a row until it is our turn again.
We sometimes sit around and talk after dinner or we play a game, while waiting for American Idol to come on...hehe. We watch that and boo and hiss at the appropriate times and vocalise how much we think ill of that poor Sunjia kid. Then we wait another 30 minutes and watch LOST and lately we have been booing and hissing at that too. lol
Now something that I think we need to do is come up with a name for it...so when we are all blogging or talking about it with others, we are not calling it the "dinner thing" haha. We really should come up with one. What do you think?
I used to call it our LOST dinner party but now we all don't stay and watch it. Tell me what is a a girl to do? HELP name our dinner party....:)
Coming Soon to a Kitchen Near You?
Could I really be a Pampered Chef Kitchen Consultant?
I really don't know....well here is four good reasons that I think I would be good at it.
I have a fun, outgoing personality
I am creative
I love to cook
I love the food network channel and I have always wanted my own cooking show...i mean ALWAYS!
When I was a toddler I would watch the Frugal Gourmet and that guy that pronounced onions funny,all the time, and growing up, whenever I was in the kitchen I would talk to my invisible viewers like I was hosting my own show, carefully telling the audience every ingredient and how to create wonderful, and marvelous recipes.
I still to this day find myself talking out loud in the kitchen...and i will laugh. I do love to cook and I still want my own show. (I could be right after my BFF Rachael Ray, she does not know this yet---shhhh! I don't want to scare her away.)
I think it would be a fun experience and a whole lot better then selling vacuum cleaners.
Plus---I NEED SOME HOBBIES!
So nice out today!
It was spring today in Sandusky, Ohio!
Casey and our friend Casie Troxel and I went and got Wendy's and drove(we would have walked but I had to get home to clean for my jewelry party.) down to "OUR" fishing spot. (behind the Yacht Club on the rocks and into the bay) We sat on the rocks and ate our lunch and watched the seagulls snatch up little dead perch that were laying on the ice that has yet to melt. I was really neat, because some of the ice has already melted and you can see the fish swimming in the water around the ice...how cold they must be! What i also found to be really cool--sorry a pun---was the fact that as you were walking out toward the bay, the ice was still solid and there was no moving water but once you were to the bay, there was somewhat of a drop off where all of a sudden there was freely moving water...really sweet! there were little ice burgs all over the place, and acting like i was five years old, i threw rocks at them...hehe. We had to hurry on our way but it was nice to say hello to our fishing rock after such a long time!
Sorry I forgot my Camera...BAD BLOGGER!
Danielle's Jewlery Party
So my jewelry party is tomorrow. I am not sure how it is going to go.
I am not a jewelry person myself, I have 3 rings that I wear at all times. I have maybe, 2 necklaces to chose from, and I have 4 pairs of earrings. So really I guess I need some jewelry. I am not a good accessoriser. I don't wear hats and I never change purses unless the one that I am using is falling apart.
I am having this party as a favor to one of my darling friends...lol.
I'm making pizza thingies um....Stromboli-I think. We are having chips and brownies too.
So if you are reading this...come-and bring a friend...at least for the food.
I feel bad I do not think many people are coming, I hope that they do but who knows...
I shall let you know how it goes...here is to hoping!
THIEF!
How rude!
Why in the world would someone steal an hour from me?
It takes me so long to get used to falling forward that it is so mean to take that hour back---Indian giver!
So to whom ever invented daylight savings----I am not to fond of you...today.
I hate the cat!
Casey got a cat for me a few days before we got married and it was such a cute little thing.
....And then it got big. Now I would love to get rid of the thing.(Her name is AD.D. by the way) But you would never guess who is in love with the "little darling''...yeah that is right, Casey. Bummer. Ok fine and dandy but now I ask you who do you think cleans the litter box, (GROSS) yep if you guessed Danielle, you win a prize- an adorable cat-yes she is potty trained- it's not that easy I know. I really don't like her....HELP.
Pros and Cons of living in Sandusky, Ohio---this is just MY oppinion here.
Ok so Pros....
1)It is close to everything!
a.)the mall (not that it is any good)
b.)Any where you would want to eat (in this area anyways) *We need a Carrabas!- Don't tell the olive garden that!
c.)The Movie theaters (both of them)
d.)Our friends-that live in the area-they all live in Sandusky
e.)Wal-mart...for everything but groceries and Meijer...for groceries
f.)we are close to work---like that is my number one joy!
2.)There are sidewalks-I've never lived where there were sidewalks
4.)The lake is right here...you can see it anyway...no beach though.
5.)I like hearing the church bells
Ok now the Cons...
1.)It is ghetto...so to anyone that lives here.
2.)People don't have back yards
3.)It is more than 15 min. from family
4.)It does not have a beach...cedar point does not count!
5.)The police and Fire sirens wake me up at night
6.)I have to lock things that i never had to before
a.) The apartment
b.)The cars
6.)The neighbors are way to close!
7.)I don't feel safe walking after dark
8.)house values go waaaaaay down.
9.)you cannot be noisy with out bothering people.
So there you have it the only reason I like Sandusky is because it is close to things.
My Sister is 13 years old!
My darling baby sister (that growing up-i always wanted!)is now a teenager...attitude and everything. On March first she has been in my life for 13 years and i cannot begin to express how much I love her. I want to be the person that she comes to when she is having a problem,if it be with love, life, or when she is just having a bad day. She is very much a blessing to my life and I just thought I would share that today...I hope we stay close and get closer as time moves on.
Happy Birthday Melissa Renee!!!!
This song is for you!
Sisters, sisters,
There were never such devoted sisters.
Never had to have a chaperone, no sir.
I´m here to keep my eye on her.
Caring, sharing
every little thing that we are wearing.
When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome,
she wore the dress and I stayed home.
All kinds of weather, we stick together,
the same in the rain or sun.
Two different faces, but in tight places
we think and we act as one. Uh-huh!
Those who´ve seen us
know that not a thing can come between us.
Many men have tried to split us up, but no one can.
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister,
and Lord help the sister that comes between me and my man.
All kinds of weather, we stick together,
the same in the rain or sun.
Two different faces, but in tight places
we think and we act as one. Uh-huh!
Those who´ve seen us
know that not a thing could come between us.
Many men have tried to split us up, but no one can.
Lord help the mister who comes between me and my sister,
and Lord help the sister who comes between me and my man.
Sisters!
Sisters!
Sisters!
Don´t you come
between me and my man!
Casey and Danielle
We were married July, 22, 2006, surrounded by loving family and GREAT friends.
Incredibly it has almost been eight months! I cannot believe it.
Casey is working for Norfolk Southern, out of Bellevue, as a RailRoad conducter.
He has been working there for two years and seems to enjoy it-with an occational "Off" day.
I have been at Olive Garden for a little less time, it will be two years on March 11th. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not...Somedays I hate it and some days I don't. (But over-all I think I will be there a while.)
As of right now We are living in a cute little apartment in Sandusky.
We are starting to feel a little crowded and running out of room fast! So it won't be to long before we start house hunting. Probably somewhere in the next six months.
Well i guess that is all for now.
