Evelyn and Danielle are heading to FL

Evelyn and I are heading to florida on saturday with my mom and sister. We are visiting my grandad for spring break.

A few thoughts of my day...

1) Why am i the only one with a stupid pre - made background...it is ugly, and someone needs to show me how to make it pretty...

2) Evelyn had shots today...not very fun at all. 4 pokes---but we are up to date, and that is all that matters...and we don't have to do it again for another 6 months...and then we are done til 5 years of age...I THINK...I HOPE...I PRAY!

3) Speaking of prayer, please keep our family in your prayers we are in the process of making a big decision, and we are trying to keep our noses out of it and wait on the Lord...which as you know can be hard to do sometimes! Thanks

Our baby girl turned 1 yesterday!

I can not believe that she is 1 already. We had a blow out birthday party on Saturday, and Evelyn got some great new toys, books, and clothes! We were pretty relaxed yesterday and spent the afternoon at my parents and went to a super bowl party at the church in the evening, which everyone left before the game was over...and i don't think anyone was watching anyways....so um yeah, not doing that next year but ok...

we then ran home quickly to catch the rest of the game and get Evelyn down for bed...
she has been going down at 9:30 every night for a week now! She still gets up in the middle of the night and i am too grawgy to deal with her so we just bring her in bed with us...YEP get to work on this one!

Today we are packing...

Closing on Monday!

Just wanted everyone to know that Monday we will be homeowners!

And tuesday and wednesday I will be cleaning our Apartment! BOO!

But for now we are going to be packing like 2 crazys!

Hello Friends...

Well we are one day closer to getting our house...that is what I keep telling myself anyways...come on paperwork!!!

So I started a new blog yesterday about saving money, while typing about my family is not my favorite thing to do, nor my hobby - Saving money for my family IS my hobby. I love it I started clipping coupons in March and since then have saved our family thousands of dollars, with the added bonus of getting things that i would not normally spend money on for FREE! So i thought that i would share a few things with you and try to post daily to show a deal a day, or the deal of the week in our area.

Hopefully you could catch the coupon bug, it is a bit of work, but it is SO worth it!

Welcome 2009!

Well if you did not know, the end of 2008 brought us some wonderful news

We bought a house on Erie st in Norwalk and will be taking up residence by January the 15Th...unless we have to sign another extension....which will make momma mad!

It is a 4-5 bedroom 1 full bath...with a room down stairs with a toilet...eventually be another full bath. We can't wait to start making it our own!

Evelyn just Celebrated her first Christmas and New years and had a blast---and exactly a month from now we will be celebrating her own birthday! I can't believe it!~she has gotten so big and she will show you just how big she is if you ask! She also says please but it comes out at a big hissing noise...but it is polite all the same. she claps her hands and dances like a crazy person. She is not walking yet but has a few toys that she got for Christmas that i think will move that right along. She crawls all over the place and LOVES getting into things. She has this funny face she does that gets us rolling every time. She has made some modifications to her funny face, about every few weeks or so, and that keeps us on our toes too!

All in all 2008 was a great year-other than missing my Grandma- We could not have asked for too much more.

Thank you Lord for being a wonderful protector and caretaker of our family and loved ones!
