Sunday Morning

Well Andrew won his game on Friday...he actually scored the winning touch down! I was the first time since Truman was in office that Norwalk has beaten Bellevue at Bellevue's home stadium! Kinda cool.
Yesterday we just sat around and did nothing, cleaned a little, went out to eat with Casey's mom and step dad at Chett and Matt's, went grocery shopping, and caught a mouse. (that mouse part was gross!--ha ha)
Today we have my little cousin's Birthday party at 5---we got him bath toys and Nerf balls.
what are you supposed to get a 2 year old Brut? I don't know either...but they are getting a baby brother on the 11Th and we get to watch Anna and Luke while mommy and daddy have a c-section...well i guess just mommy is having that c-section. OK well that is all for today

~~~YAY! for Football~~~
My family loves going and cheering for my brothers high school football team...
The Norwalk Truckers have not always been known to be a winning team, actually when I was in high school they were known as a losing team! Now they are finally getting the whole act together...and it is really fun cheering them on to a win!
Anyway I am going to his game tonight ( Casey has to work) and I just wanted to share!
Poor Casey
The poor guy keeps whining about Halo 3 I don't know what to do with him!
I wouldn't have a problem with him buying the game but stupid Microsoft has made the Xbox 360 and we don't have one...anyway to make a buck...how rude...it seems like we just bought the Xbox...sigh!
And now for our Bi-Monthly update!
Almost Bi-monthly anyway....
So...the baby...
We found out on September 11th that we are having a baby girl, so bring on the pink! (p.s. i like other colors too!) Everything looks healthy and normal, I got a call this morning that the Dr. looked at the ultrasound pictures and they said everything seems right on track, so I am now 22 weeks pregnant---with 18 to go...huh...I really don't know what I think about that.
My new hobby now that I am in early retirement,(and not hugging my porcelain friend anymore) is getting online and sending away for coupons and free samples...I am so weird...and cheep.
This past Monday my Grandmother passed away, she was battling cancer of the breast, ovary, and liver, and the treatments were too much for her body to process. She was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday evening and from then on just started shutting down, it is by far the worst thing I have ever had to watch and I hope that no one else I love ever have to go through that. On Saturday night my family all gathered round her bed and everyone was crying, my mom wanted us to sing hymns and needed me to start them, I did not think that i would be able to do it, but once we started it was so comforting, the Holy Spirit moved in that room and we ALL could feel it. The next evening some of us brought hymnals and we sang again, this time we were all very light hearted and filled with God's love. I knew that my Grandma was going to die but we all could rejoice in knowing that she had a home in Heaven prepared for her. At 11:30 the charge nurse asked us to leave so I said goodbye to my Grandma and went home, my aunt stayed with her though the night. The next morning I slept until about 10 and got up, Casey was still asleep because he had to work that night to I let him be, and got ready, grabbed my Bible and headed to the Hospital. I thought I would relieve my aunt and read to my Grandma for a while that morning. I found a parking space, got out and walked toward the entrance and my phone rang, I answered it and my mom was on the other end and said "Grandma went to be with the Lord" Surprisingly the first thing out of my mouth was "Thank you God" and i headed up to the room to be with my mom. All the hubbub of Funeral arrangements were already beginning. I called Casey and then headed home. The next few days were soooooooo tiring. They funeral was wonderful, and we were able to share our family's testimony with everyone there and that in and of itself was such a blessing. Some people did not understand that we were not crying because she was dead but because of how much we are all going to miss her.
Thank you all for your love and prayers over the last few weeks they mean so much to all of us.
